Cat Beside a Plant Coloring Page — Free Printable

A seated kitten shares the page with a potted plant that has just three broad leaves. The two silhouettes stay separate, so the cat and plant are easy to read at a glance. A plain pot leaves room for a favorite solid color without adding decorative patterns to the drawing.

Balance a neutral cat with leafy greens

Try a gray kitten with sage leaves and a warm terracotta pot. If you prefer a caramel cat, a cream pot can keep the page from feeling too dark. Repeat the same green on all three leaves, or use two related shades to distinguish the overlapping stems.

The broad ears, tail, and pot are the easiest places to begin. Save the whiskers and the narrow spaces near the top of the pot for last. Keep the plant's central veins visible; extra small lines are not needed to make the leaves recognizable.
